MLD is Very Well Represented at WORLDSymposum

Today is the start of the 17th annual WorldSymposium™ Lysosomal Disease annual meeting. WORLD is the preeminent lysosomal disease research and translational science meeting.  Over the last decade and a half, its attendance has grown from a couple of hundred to well over 2,000.

MLD Foundation has attended 16 of the 17 WORLD meetings. Unfortunately, this one is virtual so we won’t have our usual booth and opportunity to directly network with hundreds of researchers, dozens of biopharma companies, and the many advocacy groups who come from around the globe to this meeting.

But there is some great news … for many years MLD was never mentioned.  However, this year there are 26 posters, 2 platform presentations, and a satellite session where MLD is a primary topic. Dean Suhr of MLD Foundation is the primary author of one of the posters which focuses on diagnostics, newborn screening, equity, and access. You can download our poster here.

This year 1 of every 12 posters this year is about MLD – a record!

Unfortunately, we cannot provide direct links to the other posters because the material is copywritten, but we can share the poster titles below. Please contact us if you have any specific questions and we’ll see if we can address them for you.

These last 8 posters are being presented as videos. Again, because of copyright we cannot provide the contact, just the titles.
